FIND THE RIGHT SHOE SIZE FOR PUMPS

How do I find the right shoe size? Important tips for your perfectly fitting pumps.
The perfect shoe is always the one that not only looks good, but also fits perfectly on the foot! So it shouldn't be too tight, too loose, too long or too short. And it's even more difficult with pumps: the fit and support have to be perfect. If the pump is too big, it has no stability, the foot slips in the pump and you have too little support and confidence. In addition, the foot tries convulsively to "hold on" to the shoe and this leads to pain when walking as the foot muscles tense up. It can also cause blisters where the shoe rubs against the foot.
If the pump is too small, it compresses the foot too much. This can also lead to pain as the foot tries to avoid the pressure and adopts a cramped posture. You notice this as soon as you slip into the shoe when your foot literally has to squeeze into the shoe.

I still have my grandfather's words ringing in my ears: "A shoe should not hinder you, it should support you in what you do. He was not only a master shoemaker but also a passionate sportsman and practiced both his profession and his hobby well into old age. For this reason, buying shoes was always a fixed ritual for me as a child:
1. Measuring the feet
2. Check the shoe last shape of the shoes that came into question
3. Try on and walk up and down to check whether the foot has a good hold in the shoe.
A "ritual" that is still valid for me today, because:
1. Feet don't just change during childhood
2. Every last of a shoe/brand is different.
Of course, the easiest way is always to take a shoe that is as comparable as possible and look at the size. However, there are only a few mm (3-4mm) between half shoe sizes, and this make the difference whether a pump fits perfectly or not.
At GLORIELLAS fittings, I have often heard the following answer to my question "what size shoe do you wear?": "In sneakers 38 and pumps, I prefer to take a size larger - so that I can put in an insole and the foot is not squashed." In pumps there is no room for an additional insole, even if you buy them one size larger.
Incidentally, the cushioning footbed is already integrated in GLORIELLAS, so you don't need any additional insoles to walk comfortably in them. In addition, the last shape is designed to be so foot-friendly that the foot is not squashed. The optimum distribution of weight ensures that the pump provides excellent support and is therefore very comfortable to wear, even over long periods of time.
For perfect comfort, it is therefore extremely important that pumps fit perfectly. Our GLORIELLAS size guide will help you to find the right GLORIELLAS shoe size.Eva Benetatou in Gloriellas High Heels
As every shoe last shape is different, I recommend simply using the GLORIELLAS size guide to take a quick measurement:
1. Print out the GLORIELLAS size guider (you can find the GLORIELLAS SIZE GUIDE in pdf format here)
2. Place the foot on the pre-drawn contour lines, making sure that the heel touches a wall at the back.
3. Mark the longest point of the big toe on the template. Then take the corresponding shoe size (measured along the length of the big toe) from the side line.
NOTE: The developed shoe last shape of GLORIELLAS offers enough space for your feet: the fit is based on the average German foot width and is therefore not as narrow as comparable Italian models.
For perfect comfort, high heels must fit properly and should therefore not be too big or too small. For this reason, GLORIELLAS also offers half sizes so that you are sure to find the right size for you.
Little effort for great added value: you can order the perfectly fitting size straight away and, with a quick measurement, the right size will be at your home in 2-3 working days and also helps to avoid returns and thus reduce emissions.
Remember that the perfect shoe should not only look good, but also fit your foot perfectly. Good luck in your search for your ideal pumps!
