Early on, she developed a special love for elegant, high-quality shoes - especially high heels. In 2022, she decided to turn her passion into a brand and founded GLORIELLAS. Her goal: to create comfortable high heels that are not only stylish but also comfortable - exactly what you are looking for as a high heel lover.
From tradition to innovation
Gaby Wurth comes from a family where shoemaking has been practiced for generations. Her grandfather, Herrmann Wurth, was a passionate master shoemaker who continued soling the shoes of his fellow citizens into old age. This tradition of craftsmanship, combined with Gaby Wurth's passion for fashion and aesthetics, laid the foundation for GLORIELLAS - a brand that combines craftsmanship, elegance and functionality. 1. What is important for you?
For me, it is crucial that women enjoy wearing GLORIELLAS high heels. Our comfortable high heels offer long-lasting comfort, making them almost as comfortable to wear as sneakers. Our aim is to make high heels so comfortable that you won't want to take them off.
2. What do GLORIELLAS stand for?
GLORIELLAS stands for a perfect combination of style and comfort. We combine Italian design with an innovative German sports functional sole. The difference to conventional high heels is not only visible, but above all tangible. Thanks to their timeless elegance and matching accessories, each pump can be combined in a variety of ways and goes with numerous looks. We stand for quality over quantity: better a high-quality pump that can be worn on many occasions than an uncomfortable shoe that you want to take off again after a few minutes. What's more, GLORIELLAS are “100% Made in Europe” - from heel to toe, our shoes are produced in Italy and Germany. Quality and European craftsmanship are particularly important to us.
3. How was the brand name created and does it have a special meaning?
The name “Gloriella” is an Italian diminutive of Gloria and means “revered”. This name represents the core of my brand: a tribute to Italy and to the pump as a classic. The “S” at the end of GLORIELLAS emphasizes the plural, because pumps are always bought in pairs.
4. What do you want to achieve with GLORIELLAS?
My goal is to revolutionize the market for high heels. I want to inspire women with my passion for stylish and comfortable high heels. GLORIELLAS should show that elegance and comfort can go hand in hand - so that women feel both beautiful and comfortable in their pumps.
